This was not the best week to keep a food journal. It has been an extremely stressful week. We are moving to Vancouver in a few weeks to be closer to Sean's workplace.
I tend to eat horribly when I am stressed and it is usually all sugar. Tonight I had a Twix bar. Now, I sit here feeling guilty as hell and fatter than a pig.
Gee, I don't have any issues with food.

Hi-
I'm one of Jody's friends from the Where's My Damn Answer Blog. But I'mm also tracking my journey to weight loss on livewellstressless.info. I so relate to the fear of being judged by your food journal. At the end of January I started working with a nutritionist too! There have been weeks that I have cringed having to show my journal. There have been weeks that I have not filled out the journal. Fortunately my nutritionist is kind and works with the real me. One week when I didn't fill it out I thought about "making it up" before my meeting with her. I laughed as the thought occurred to me--as though that was going to help me learn anything. I've lost 17 pounds in 2 months even though I haven't been perfect at my eating plan. It is harder to lose weight when you are older--but not impossible. And not as hard as we tell ourselves intially. So hang in there and congratulate yourself on all the things you have done so far.

Hi Carol,
Isn't crazy that we actually think of "pulling one over" our nutritionists? It's nuts!
Congrats on the 17 pounds!! That is huge! Keep up the good work girlie!
I hope I get to meet all you girls soon. Thanks for looking after my best friend. It makes me so happy she has found amazing women to hang out with. :)
I lOVE this quote, and I, too really relate to what you and Carol say here. I have been doing a plan now for several weeks, and have found the journal to be my most unconscious part. I have been the absolute worst in my group at even filling it out. And it's really bad right now, since I just spent the last 2 weeks eating pretty much everything in sight and gaining 5 pounds back. Nothing else to do but get back to it!
Thanks for being on this journey too. Check out Carol's and my blog on similar quest - livewellstressless.com.
