Moving on, is a simple thing, what it leaves behind is hard. ~ Dave Mustaine

Around April 28th we are moving to Vancouver, WA to be closer to Sean's job at BPA. Right now he is driving almost 20 miles for the commute. Once we move we will be 10 minutes from his office. Vancouver is a suburb of Portland so we will still be by all the stuff I have come to love about this city.

The house we are moving into is HUGE! 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, family room, eat in kitchen, and a formal dining room. I love the dining room. It is in its own room not one big room connected to a kitchen or other open areas. It is a real formal dining room.

The house is so amazing. I seriously can't wait to get moved in!!

I am so excited about moving but really scared about the stress that comes with moving. I gained a few pounds with the move from Denver and have just now shed them. I hate not having a routine. I would be lying if I said I wouldn't miss the part of town we live in now. I have finally been able to put the GPS thingy away in my car. Oh well, I guess this means new adventures!

I just want to get back to my routine I had in Denver. Normal. Yeah, I am anything but normal!

Here are a few pictures of the new house:

Whilst moving...remember, NO FAST FOOD...no matter what!!! You can still slow down enough to eat what you're supposed to even if it is at a restaurant!
GREAT HOUSE...LOVE THE YARD...

Oh, and when did you become a Megadeath fan...?!?! HA HA HA or is that a different Dave Mustaine?

LOL

Maggs, you need to send me that email everyday! LOL It is like my mantra. No fast food. Slow down. Enjoy every bite.

Mindful eating. Mindful eating. Mindful eating.

I can do that...Just remember, because everything is boxed up does not mean you have to go through the drive through...go to Whole Foods, go to your TJ's and get the prepared foods, but DON'T GO THRU THE DRIVE THRU...

Just say NO!

I'm so proud of you....keep up the good work.

michelle,
your house is GREAT!! congrats!
we just moved a few months ago from upstate new york to santa clarita, AND moved my in-laws household as well - definitely STRESSFUl!
i found it really helpful to have sandwich fixings on hand and i made them up ahead of time when i could, mostly wraps so i didn't eat the bread, but had to have bread for the little monkey's pbj :-) lean turkey, some lettuce, mustard and salt & pepper and it's practically a gourmet meal. and it takes less time then getting in the car and finding a fast food place :-))
good luck on the move and i hope you're settled in soon.

Linda,

Thank you SO much for the tips! I think having some wraps on hand would definitely make things easier. I get so involved in what I am doing I forget to slow down and eat well.

Congrats on your two moves! Moving has to be the most stressful thing ever. Ugh. :)
